Hats......

It's an age since I took part in the Take a Word challenge but this weeks theme is Hats and I think this tag might fit the bill. Every month at the EfemeraInk meeting we swap tags based on the 12 days of Christmas...Instead of 3 French hens I have 3 little maids.... all with hats. Iv'e chosen to do all my tags with Zetti stamps... months 1 and 2 are here.
I wonder what next months will be...

Happy 4th Of July

This is a page from a Bird Journal swap I'm taking part in and it fits with Take A word's theme this week which is Stars and Stripes........It's mostly collage stuck with Mod Podge! Never in a million years would I have thought I'd use so much of that stuff. (Bad experiences in the 70's!)

Bug In A Box!

Insects......makes you itch just thinking about them! That's Take a Word's theme this week, insects not itching!

Here's my bug in a box... a pretty little butterfly ( That's something we did as children, catching them and putting them in boxes or jars.... not very PC now!)

The papers are from 7 Gypsies, the Conservatory range.

...I know.. it amazes me too! still hanging in there with the UKStampers Art Journal..though there's not much art involved in mine.Week 15 is Travel, the same as Take a Word... a happy coincidence!

... of a project appearing on Scattered Scarlet in the near future, featuring this paper and these chipboard shapes from 3djean....lovely French vintage. I've raided the 'special' stash for this and so far I'm quite pleased with the result. Take a Word has lace for this weeks theme.......

Maybe this is stretching it a bit but she does have a building for a body.

Love Bird

The sewing machine was still out so it seemed a shame not to use it. Since Gothic Arches have gone fortnightly I've lost the routine of joining in challenges. Their theme is Hearts for the next two weeks. Take a Word is Blackbird, so there's two challenges done, one to go, which is

I needed some butterfly stamps for a project and I came across these......... not what I wanted but so pretty, so as you do I stamped them out so I could see what they were like. Well what do you do with the stamped pieces (They were stamped onto Cosmo Cricket Flouriste)
