Out of the box!

Out of the box in more ways than one!..I decided it was time to use some old stash so delved into the fabric box and out came this combo..........not colours I would choose (Why they were in the box I don't know! they must have been a bargain!) I decided to make a quilted bag.. a trial run before the quilt! and I'm putting buttons on it..........I have a slight button phobia. So this project has got me sooooooooooo far out of my box it's unreal!

Am not sure you're actually surrounded by a box, actually. I LOVE the colours, the less serious the better for me. Looking forward to seeing the finished bag.

I love the colours too - they, combined with the fabric, remind me of trees blowing in the wind on an autumnal twilight night. Can't wait to see it finished.
