Back into monotone mode....It makes a change to try and do something using a limited colour palette, I've tried to keep to white and linen shades.........The house stamp is Anna Griffin and the acetate portrait is from
3djean.The background is paper and lace painted with gesso. It measures12cmx18cm. Dreams is this weeks
Three Muses challenge and it also fits the bill for the
LTDO challenge which is distressed..........a bit like me, frayed around the edges!

As soon as I saw this picture the opening line from a very famous book popped in my head:
"Last night I went to Manderley again..." If you don't know it, it's from Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier. The woman looks just like I imagine Mrs Danvers - standing protecting Manderley and the memory of Rebecca. Very sinister. Excellent job there!
I love the subtle elegant color here and what an excellent dream piece- wonderful embellishments!
ooo have to agree with WrightStuff...she does remind me of Mrs Danvers. A wonderful colour palette and love the little bit of lace and buttons.
