Purple Heart!

I've not much time this week so I'm combining challenges again ( I really don't like doing this but needs must!)...Mixed Media Monday's theme is 'I am Woman' and The Three Muses challenge is to use a key somewhere on your piece. So here's my Purple Heart. The stamp is from Lost Coast, the velvet heart is stamped with gold fabric paint. The background is damask pattern stamp( forgotten who's) embossed onto hand coloured paper.

What a very beautiful and evocative piece. I love the look of the locket or cameo. It begs to have a story told.
