Fun and Games..

That's this weeks 3 Muses theme. To me fun and games brings back memories of Ludo, Snakes and Ladders and Tiddlywinks! All played with my Grandmother!
The background of this piece is the packaging from some chipboard pieces, sanded and then painted with white acrylic and the chipboard games bits added. The image is from an old picture book. The text is computor generated (That's about the limit of my computor skills!)

What a fantastic collage, Effie! You have used the various materials in a great fashion. And the text and image certainly ring bells in many of us: losing in a game was (is) very frustrating!

Great collage, Effie! I was born with an over-abundance of competitive spirit and I've spent my life trying to learn to lose gracefully, so your entry rang a bell with me. Well done! Thanks for playing along.

Ha ha ha Effie, this brings back so many memories of fighting with my brothers and sisters when one or the other of us 'changed' the rules to try and win.

Kudos for a beautiful collage.

A gorgeous and beautifully crafted piece of art with lots of nostalgia for those of us who were brought up on those old board games. (I think some of them are still around but I haven't heard of Ludo for many years).
