Through the keyhole!

This grungeboard keyplate has been sitting around on the window sill since it had been painted with fake rust............and that was two months ago!
So it has come in useful at last. The LTDO challenge this week is keys and locks so here's my little medieval offering All the images were cut from The National Trust magazine. The base is that wonderful foam core board...... again! It's inked with Ancient Page dye inks
The key is K&Co
The edges have a hint of gold leaf.

Love this piece! I'm a big fan of anything rustic and worn looking. This piece of artwork you've made looks like a teasure someone found in an old monestary basement of something. It's stunning!! Thank you for sharing.
