Blooming!

I came across this beautiful blog the other day........ Artful Affermations
So many stunningly pretty things........ I'm so torn between pretty and prim and grungily strange. That must say something about me!.........I don't think I want to know!
There's a fab tutorial on how to make these pretty flowers Of course I had no pretty coloured crepe paper............. so I dipped each petal into Glimmer Mist and waited until it dried before assembling........... and I had no vintage glass glitter, so Mr Tim to the rescue. Platinum Stickles, it has the nice muted effect of vintage. I could never follow instructions... I wanted stems on my flowers so I threaded wire through the bead and down through the centre of the flower. This blue one has an old earing at it's centre. They are just so pretty!............. That's my pretty fix for this week!

that's so true!!! too much pretty and it can get kind of gaggy, and too much grungy and it can get just down right ugly. there's a nice mix of the two for sure that makes it *just right*!

Gosh I have been away from crafting a week I have missed so much of your lovely stuff.

I am also like you in that I love the Tim Holts grungyness but I also adore shabby chic prettiness why? I don't know but I don't care lol it does mean I am often stuck as to what to make to day though

Love youyr flower very pretty and the earing is genious!
