What a combination................

.. all my favourite things in one!..... birds, wings and crowns!. Remember the decorating post?
well here's the curtain remnants! It was just too pretty to throw away. The cake mould didn't make it but he swings from a bit of driftwood from the beach.......... I must go and get some more!

I've since got some wool felt (How hard is it to find 100% wool felt!.. is the whole world is made from polyester?) for making wings which looks much nicer.

The little crowns came from Hobby Craft.. how fab are they!
If anyone is interested he needs a new home!..

He is stunning looks like he's aready found a home but I am a great 2nd choice lol. I really like how this is put together. so you have to tell where you found the 100% wool felt in the end and I have to agree the crowns are special I will have to have a looky in Hobby craft (what section? It is HUGE as I am sure you know lol

love Dawn xx

He is lovely. I know he has gone to a new home by now, but is there any chance you could post how you made him. I would love one like him hanging in my newly decorated craft room :0

love your little bird and the way you have him displayed on his perch
...if you can't find wool felt then have a go at making your own wings with wool tops and your felting needle

This may be a stupid question, may have been already answered but, is there a pattern available for this little guy/gal. Most certainly would make great little Christmas gifts among other things.
love it, but of course love all your birdie stuff.
