Remember This...

Disaster...........well it's finished, it didn't turn out too bad. It's a little different to the pattern, I added a border of spotty purple to make it bigger.

One day I'm going to make something and follow the instructions to the letter....
One day!

why bother with instructions lol its a lot more interesting just doing it - I adore this quilt and so want to be able to sow (even a button would be a start)

Fabulous - it looks great! I've got some fabric ready for that one too, just need to start it. And a whole list of others. Fancy a quiltathon? ;)

Wicked - love those colours together. Now in my opinion it's nothing without the purple border!!! And rather than being tempted to be anal and match in to the burgundy (purplish) shade in the quilt (which is what I would have done) - you've gone different. It works Efs - don't ever conform - you are different (lol) accept it. *rasps tongue out in friendly fashion*

LOL even the comment moderation has come up as "flypo" today!!

Love the quilt anyway, the spotty border holds the pieces together wonderfully !

what are you on about ..this is no way a disaster..I like the way the purple sets off the other colours..I always think its best to adapt patterns so that you make them your own as you have done here with this marvellous quilt..like your other fabric stuff to especially the diet cakes!
