Pulling Teeth!

............that's what crafting seems like at the moment.
It's been a real struggle to get motivated, this weeks Gothic Arches challenge is crowns, a subject that would usually take me 5 minutes to come up with an idea.......this has taken since Sunday! I'm not happy but at least it is a finished challenge!

Only another dozen or so projects to do!..... hope the motivation and inspiration find their way home soon!
What do you do when you have a creative block?

I think your arch is wonderful... loving all the colors you chose, but I know what you mean. I believe we all get creative block. Music plays a huge part in my creativity and sometimes I have to change it up to move me. Go get a pedicure or pamper yourself while your sitting there getting your feet rubbed you can let your mind wander on what you want to create when you get home. Enjoy !!!

Oh I love it, there's alot to see and I just love the sassafrass borders!

When I have a creative block I just have to walk out of my craft room or I end up making something 'orrible that makes me think I can't make anything nice...usually a cuppa helps, but my creative juices dried up for nearly a month once I nearly sold all my stamps would you believe?

Just think happy thoughts :o)

Your gothic arch is great! Love the colours.
When I have a creative block I tidy up my studio, I can guarantee I will think of something I want to make when I have made an even bigger mess trying to sort out the mess! Always works for me!!!

Cake or chocolate and flicking through a craft mag does it for me. Nice crown love the little pearls.

wonderful arch.....as for creative blocks,I just keep going but maybe use only one ink colour and one stamp and just see what happens...if its a real bad block, then I take a break and maybe do something completely different till the urge to craft comes back.

Fab arch, I love the crowning glory sentiment with her flowing locks! Shame it's feeling like hard work rather than fun on the crafting front. I usually switch crafts for a bit if I get a block, often seems to work!

When my craft mojo deserts me I either look through a lot of art and craft books (with no project in mind, just browsing) or I just pick a couple of things at random and just play, again with no particular project or challenge in mind. Or I watch Midsomer Murders :-)
