This little wooden house (it's about 2.5" square) has been sitting around for eighteen months waiting for a tenant....remember the
paperclay bird? well there was a marble sized piece of clay leftover so I made a mini bird..................
and he's just the right size for this house!
So he moved in!
Take a Word have Birdlife as their theme this week.
I did think of making a mini crown but never got around to it.

OhHH great use of leftover clay! He puts me in mind of a cuckoo clock popping out like he is :)
oo that is gorgeous, the bird is so cute
King of the roost even without a crown, I reckon - fab little bird and the box looks great!
just love your creations!
Too cute, Effie!

Oh, it's delightful!
Home away from home! Obviously this little clay fellow is a bird of means, since he has a vacation house! Wonderful use of clay!
Effie, you are so wonderfully talented, this is just wonderful.
Love your little birdie
Do you fancy posting a step by step tutorial on using this paper clay as your creations are fab but it all seems a bit daunting.
You are such a wonderful artist, Effie! Your projects are all so inspiring!
I don't think your bird needs a crown, Effie. He is MAGNIFICENT and very regal even without a crown on his head. This is an amazing piece of art. I am in awe of your talent and skills. Fantastic.
Your birdhouse is adorable and the bird is so cute.
A wonderful birdhouse and I love the colours of the bird.
