Nostalgia!

The prompt for week 8 of the art journal was books.....and I listed Toby Twirl as one of my childhood favourites.......so imagine my surprise when I came across this in one of my local charity shops!

A large Toby Twirl book in fabulous condidtion, I only ever remember the small 5x7 size. The illustrations are the same beautiful art work. The pick up sticks were there too... I loved that game!

What an amazing find!
I found my favourite nursery rhyme book Mabel Lucy Atwel at a boot fair last year, god knows what the poor guy selling it thought about this mad woman almost hyperventilating at an old kids book!!! I then went on to amaze my 3 kids in reciting almost word perfect all the rhymes in there (a great feit as I sometimes don't remember what I have said/done 5 mins before).
Enjoy your trip down memory lane!!!
