the whole thing just hasn't come together.. I've still to finish it but the enthusiasm just isn't there.

Good idea to show what doesn't work alongside what does.....I'm sure it doesn't look as bad to me as it does to you........be interested to see the finished result.

I am not that good at quilting either, takes a lot of practice. I love the leaves, I know it's going to be beautiful when you're done. :o) Have a great day!

Tricky one! For me, I think the leaves are a busy enough shape that I'd have been tempted to simplify the combination of patterns/colours on each one. Then again, I might have tried that and decided that didn't work the way I anticpated either! Be interesting to see how it evolves!
