Walking.....

on Sunshine.....going all yellow for this post, to see why look here...



A great charity shop find yesterday... I usually look for vintage knitting needles but spotted some old cotton reels and packets of binding....a whole £1. there are more but these fit with the yellow thing. and so does the latest finished qulit!

Simply quilted by stitching in the ditch..... I'm going to try free motion quilting on a big scale some day but I have a feeling I won't like it.... I'm too much of a neat freak!

A whole £1! Bargain [and with that 70p you saved on the fabric last momnth you'll have only needed 30p extra!]

Love the treasures and I really like that your quilt looks old already. In a good way! [Maybe I should have said 'authentic' instead?!]

Gosh, how do you manage to do SO MUCH quilting. This is lovely but it is very time consuming to do.
