The Cat....
..sat on the mat.... well almost, why are cats so uncooperative? no matter how many bribes or bits of fresh chicken this stubborn cat just wouldn't pose for the camera!... and after all the effort I'd put in making a new blanket for her basket.

the cat can't pose because the cat is busy doing cat-things (like sitting on something and staring and not taking notice of her personnel ☺)
