I'm Not So....

..Enthusiastic about this quilt now I've started it, I loved the fabric when I bought it ( French General,  Le Petite Ecole from Moda  It's more muted in the flesh.) it just doesn't appeal anymore
But I've started it so I'll finish it.

The oblong diamond was created by stitching squares at each corner and flipping over..then trimming.

Here are all the trimmed corners.... yes I've stitched them all together...

Maybe I'll get around to making something with them....Project 574!

Clever way to use your scrap pieces of material, liking the way they are all linked together.

Your quilt looks amazing, i think anyone who can make a quilt is clever, it takes an understanding of maths and patience, both of which i am not too good at :-) xxx

Not sure why you've gone off the fabric, looks lovely to me! Great pattern of pieces too, love the fact the "stars" are plain in amongst the patterns and colours!

Nothing like taking a piece of fabric, cutting it up and then sewing it back together I bet it will look stunning once it's finished.
