It's a Dogs Life!

Another craft book find....... £1.50! I love old craft books and this is full of patterns.... I had to try one out so I chose........

This little chap... how cute is he! A bit fiddly to make but he didn't take to long. What a difference using 100% wool felt makes, it's a joy to work with.
Alas the elephant pattern is missing as is the donkey... I love donkeys too! (too many rides at the sea side!)

This little fellow has a home to go to...... but I may make something else which needs adopting!

Oh he is adorable - I just love your little birds and animals and everything you sew.

What a great book - shame about the missing animals.

How disappointing to find pages missing. The dog you have made is splendid, he looks great. Annette x

Oh no! How can the donkey be missing, he would have been the best one. Love the Doggie though.

oh ... that dog looks just like the dog my Auntie Norah had when I was very little. His name was Rusty and (we are talking the mid-1960s) he would be let out of the house in the morning when she went out to work and not let back in until late at night. Rusty was a very smart dog tho ... and would make his way to our house so that my mum would let him in ... thank goodness there were few cars on the road back in those days ...

Stuffed to perfection! Not a crinkle or a bandy leg in sight. I don't know how you manage it. Is there nothing you can't do? :D Not got a goat in that book, have you? Goats are wonderful creatures - complete with wattles, beards and horns! Hope you've nearly finished all your "rotten work" but glad you still have time to craft.
