Quiltmania?

.............is there such a thing? I seem to be addicted to jelly rolls. This is the next in line, it's Snippets from the American Jane collection at Moda. This quilt is going to be quite simple as I want the fabric to be the focal point not the design.

and here's one I finished earlier. I don't wash my fabric before making up (is this wrong?) I like the way it wrinkles after making up and washing... the lived in look!

I'm not brave enough to do any fancy machine quilting, I know I'd spend more time unpicking because it wasn't as regular or as neat as I would like so I'm sticking to simple geometric
stuff.

I think this pattern is Birds and Bees by Keri Beyer........not a lot of birds and no bees but I liked the colours!

No idea whether it's wrong not to wash your fabric first but if you end up with a quilt like this then I'd say who cares whether it's wrong - fab stuff!

Wow looks pretty regular and neat to me! Quilting is too controlled for me, would drive me nuts trying to get it straight but I can sure appreciate the work that goes into them. I like the wrinkles too :)
