This project has been on the ToDo list forever! She's made in the same way as the bunnies... a body of calico only this time a layer of paperclay is added to mould the head. There's a great class and tips on
Cloth Clay Dolls. Prims, the magazine from Somerset Studio is packed with fabulous stuff too. This is still a work in progress ..
She does have pants....... though no attched arms as yet.
I think painting faces may take a little more practice!.. though she's turned out prettier that I thought she would.
once she's finished it's on with the bunnies!

Wow, she looks fabulous! The paperclay looks like it's worked really well, beautiful finish on the modelling and the face painting looks good to me!
Looking Good :O)
Fab dolly, reminds me of a postmortem LOL !!
Really like the doll, and I think the face is fine!
She's lovely - she's got a great expressive face and those lips are fab.
Fab doll - love the clothes!!and the way you've utilised the lace and seam binding and her painted on shoes - her face reminds me of a punch and judy lady (in the nicest possible way) Will the rabbit have a blue velveteen jacket? Mary G xx
