That's this weeks MMM chalenge... so here's a tag made with said leftovers .........and here's the leftover box to prove it!

Back in Blogland......... been so busy, a crafting weekend with friends then odds and ends to tie up but I'm back and the mojo is slowly returning. I've had to combine three challenges this week (It was either that or miss some!) So the Gothic Arches challenge was to create a shrine ( right up my street!), The Three Muses is Time and Mixed Media Monday is playing cards.. so here's my timeless playing card Gothic Arch in it's own little shrine

I've not much time this week so I'm combining challenges again ( I really don't like doing this but needs must!)...Mixed Media Monday's theme is 'I am Woman' and The Three Muses challenge is to use a key somewhere on your piece. So here's my Purple Heart. The stamp is from Lost Coast, the velvet heart is stamped with gold fabric paint. The background is damask pattern stamp( forgotten who's) embossed onto hand coloured paper.
Fashion... that's Mixed Media Monday's theme for this week. I love tags, they're quick to do and no matter what the subject a collection of them looks great on a bookring. (I'm looking for one of those wire dress forms to hang all of mine from)
Mixed Media Monday time again... Opposites Attract, that's the theme for this week. Had to really think about this one but Zetti came to the rescue and I've made two ATCs.I've gone through the subtle colour phase ( lasted all of a week!) and returned to familiar ground. The background is made using Impress ink pads swiped onto glossy cardstock. The face stamp is Zettiology, arrow stamp is Sassafrass Lass (I've used that set of arrow stamps on just about everything!)
That's the wacky theme for this weeks Mixed Media Monday challenge. The image is from an old postcard and hand tinted with water colour. The frame is cut with a Sizzix die and the whole thing mounted on a piece of canvas board covered with vintage music paper and lace. The bird stamp is from Zettiology............................and no crowns!( I resisted the temptation!)

I'm back after being blogless for a whole week!.........very little crafting either, mojo is still elusive but I've done this weeks LTDO challenge and it also ties in nicely with Mixed Media Monday (although it's a little late). On my travels last week I picked up some little canvases on easels from The Range for 99p each.To create the backgroungd I've used Viva Croco crackling colour in silver (then I can colour it), inked it with Stazon red, inked the canvas with TH Tattered Rose, stamped with music stamp in red and then applied the face (Paperbag Studios) which had been stamped onto white tissue paper. A few buttons threaded onto wire finishes it off!

I do do pink but I don't do girly!.......but this time I've made an exception. The challenge on Mixed Media Monday is Pink. I'm always doing grungy stuff so I thought I'd try pretty for a change.... what can be prettier and pinker than Miss Marilyn?
It's slow progress with the A-Z altered book......I'm up to J... which tied in nicely with the LTDO challenge who's theme this week is cities, also over on Mixed Media Monday their challenge is to use maps somewhere in your piece. Two challenges and a new page all in one!

I'm not much of a music fan but the challenge this week over on Mixed Media Monday is meaningful music. I've always been fascinated by Egypt and liked the Bangles song Walk Like an Egyptian, so here's my little bit of Egypt. It's based on shabti figures. The stamps are by Zetti

Here's one cake you can eat without feeling guilty!......it's made from three empty ribbon reels!
