I'd had this artists mannequin forever and knew I wanted to do something with it, but quite what I didn't know, then I saw an article in the November/December issue of Sommerset Studio by Christine Crocker I was inspired... Having no antique doll to hand But having drawers full of old lace out came the mannequin. I think she turned out OK. She needs more bits adding to her hooped skirt but I'm sure that wll be remedied with time!

I am in love! I too have a mannequin vacant and a whole drawer full of doilies - might have to be inspired by this one
