And Now.......

for something completely different..........at one time I was really concerned about being torn between styles, feeling that I couldn't settle to one particular thing, liking funky grungy strange stuff and then being drawn to the clean, neat graphic style. Now I just go with whatever I feel like doing.
The cardmaking head is working overtime today, I don't really like shaped cards and easel cards are too much of an effort for me ( the goldfish syndrome again!)so I didn't think I'd be doing the LTDO challenge this week however I have been determined to make more use of my Cricut.
So I cut out the bird house and made it into a shaped card (I know.. not much of a shape)

I used the Stampin'Up punch for the bird added a few pearls and some lovely delicate braid from The Ribbon Girl. You can find their blog here
The papers are Colorbok ( from TKMaxx. don't you just love that shop!)

I think you should just do what you enjoy doing and not worry about what others think too much.....it is easy to tie yourself in knots over that stuff if you are not careful!
Personally I like your grungier, funkier stuff but I can appreciate the work in the neater stuff.

Sue is right...do whatever you enjoy.
Ive been caught in a self made trap believing everyone just wanted to see a certain style from me but Ive decided in a way, like you to do whatever and if someone else likes it,then bonus!
Liking the card shape and design.

Yep, I'm another one with multiple papercrafting personality disorder - best way to be I reckon, just doing whatever makes you happy! This looks fab, cute but not in a sickly-cute way and just shaped enough to be different without falling into gimmicky - great job!

Great shape card the colour of the dik dik is lush. I don't think you should limit yourself to one style. Try everything.... well apart from iris folding and pergamano (sorry iris folding fans)

I love it, Effie! I don't worry about being a 'flutterby' - I just jump from one thing that grabs me, to another - hence the name of my blog LOL! There's lots of lovely stuff out there in blogs, but dare I say some of it can be a bit 'same-y'. Not that I don't like it, but it can be like eating the same meal every day, if you see what I mean.
