She immediately made me think of Angela Carter's Nights at the Circus. Although the character in that is an aerialist, I'm sure she'd lend her name to your fabulous bare back rider - I therefore propose the name Fevvers. Great doll Effie, love her stripey stockings, tattoos and wonderful outfit!
