It's a block a month for nine... yes nine months. It's all needle turned applique, I may lose the will to live but I just had the urge to stitch something nice, to do some proper stitching and the little bird motif helped, though I must say my first attempt at the small birds wasn't so sucessful.....they looked like bananas!

Month one's hand stitching is complete, it does get a little easier the more you practice, there's a few mistakes on this months but that's life..I'm going for the shabby look!

Looks pretty good to me - I wouldn't know where to start! Just think what a lovely creation you'll have in nine months!
