I'm Slowly...

... Getting there...Just how many shades of white are there?...sometimes I think there's just too much choice your mind boggles.I have to say I chose this as much for the name as for the colour, what I thought would be a nice soft off white...... wrong!    its was grey and not just a hint of grey but very grey... so I altered it, added more white and a little ivory to warm it up and slapped it on the ceiling then altered it a little more and slapped it on the walls. It's a flat matt....nice but  it marks really easily.... not a good choice for a craft room but that's life!.

The furniture is in....

And filled to capacity...it's like getting a quart into a pint pot!

I've been ruthless and thrown out so much stuff out and recycled even more... I've come to the conclusion that too much stuff can be a bad thing..as well as cluttering your space it clutters your head too.....I feel ever so slightly liberated.
The houses were most peoples choice...If you're wondering it's from Sanderson, it's called Jubilee Square and was a dream to put up. I love it so thank you.

Oh it's looking fabulous! I can only imagine how much sorting you've been doing - but it's been worth it to have that as your end result. I bet you're relieved you're almost done.

And I can completely relate to the search for the perfect white. After months, and many sample pots, finding one we liked for our bedroom. Now some days I lay staring at it wondering what the fuss was about ... it just looks *white* now. Maybe that's a sign I picked the right one then?!

All your 'stuff' is looking great on your shelves - may you have lots of happy crafting hours in there!

I'm so jealous, it looks fabulous! Miles better than my cramped storage corner:-(
You're so right about clutter's effect on the mind, too.
Enjoy!

Your room looks fantastic, I had the same dilema with my craft room. I wanted a soft, warm shade that would be restful on the eye but not take too much light out of the room.

I went for what I though was a soft beige/chocolate kind of colour & ended up with granny's tights colour! It looks like stewed tea! My craft room is a garage and its the roof struts that are painted in that colour, the paler beige for the walls turned out ok.
